| CVE-2026-119343 | 1 Stirling | 1 Stirling Pdf | 2026-10-30 | 6.8 Medium |
| Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that facilitates various operations on PDF files. Prior to 3.0.0, POST /api/v1/ai/tools/create-pdf-from-html-agent accepts attacker-controlled htmlContent and passes it to WeasyPrint without CustomHtmlSanitizer, unlike the sanitized /api/v1/convert/html/pdf control path. HTTP and HTTPS resource references can make server-side requests to internal or cloud-metadata destinations, while file references can embed local content readable by the Stirling-PDF process into the generated PDF. The endpoint is reachable without credentials when security.enableLogin is false, and the flaw is distinct from earlier Stirling-PDF WeasyPrint vulnerabilities in older conversion paths. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119342 | 1 Stirling | 1 Stirling Pdf | 2026-10-30 | 5.3 Medium |
| Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that facilitates various operations on PDF files. From 2.13.1 until 2.13.2, the POST /api/v1/convert/svg/pdf endpoint renders attacker-supplied SVG through Apache Batik, and a scheme-less root-relative image reference bypasses SvgSanitizer.isExternalUrl() before Batik resolves it against the file:///input.svg document base as a same-origin local file. The convert() and addSvgAsPage() paths in app/core/src/main/java/stirling/software/SPDF/utils/SvgToPdf.java can then render image-decodable server files into the returned PDF when sanitization is enabled, including without authentication on login-disabled deployments or with non-admin access when login is enabled. The issue discloses PNG, JPG, GIF, or SVG content and provides an existence oracle only for image-decodable paths; plain text, binary files, directories, XInclude text, external entities, explicit file URLs, and tested HTTP references are not disclosed through this mechanism. This issue is fixed in version 2.13.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-113606 | 1 Stirling | 1 Stirling Pdf | 2026-10-23 | 7.1 High |
| Stirling-PDF 3.0.0 through 3.2.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated users to access other users' stored files by pointing a processing folder at the server storage directory. Attackers can create a folder via POST /api/v1/processing-folders targeting storage/<victimUserId>, list files, and run pipelines to read, modify, or destroy victims' files. | ||||
| CVE-2026-113605 | 1 Stirling | 1 Stirling Pdf | 2026-10-20 | 7.2 High |
| Stirling-PDF from 2.13.2 through 3.2.0 contains an incomplete denylist in DatabaseService.validateSqlContent() that allows administrators to bypass H2 import restrictions using CREATE OR REPLACE ALIAS. Authenticated administrators can upload a crafted SQL backup to the import-database endpoint, where RUNSCRIPT defines H2 Java function aliases and restores Java-method execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-33437 | 1 Stirling | 1 Stirling Pdf | 2026-08-21 | 8.1 High |
| Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that facilitates various operations on PDF files. Prior to 2.0.0, the Get Info workflow in app/core/src/main/resources/templates/security/get-info-on-pdf.html inserts untrusted PDF Title and Author metadata into the summary-text element with innerHTML, allowing a malicious PDF to execute stored cross-site scripting when a user clicks Get Info and to access browser-session data or modify page content. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57485 | 1 Stirling | 1 Stirling Pdf | 2026-08-21 | 8.5 High |
| Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that facilitates various operations on PDF files. Prior to 2.9.0, the /api/v1/pipeline/handleData endpoint in app/core/src/main/java/stirling/software/SPDF/controller/api/pipeline/PipelineProcessor.java injects the STIRLING-PDF-BACKEND-API-USER API key into pipeline subrequests, allowing an authenticated ROLE_USER to retrieve the key through /api/v1/user/get-api-key, impersonate the internal service account, bypass normal rate limits, and access internal endpoints including /api/v1/info/requests/all and /api/v1/info/load/all. This issue is fixed in version 2.9.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-71270 | 1 Stirling | 1 Stirling Pdf | 2026-08-10 | 8.6 High |
| Stirling-PDF's POST /api/v1/convert/url/pdf endpoint (ConvertWebsiteToPDF.java) was not updated with the CustomHtmlSanitizer/SsrfProtectionService SSRF protections that were added to three sibling conversion endpoints (html/pdf, file/pdf, markdown/pdf). | ||||
| CVE-2026-41580 | 1 Stirling | 1 Stirling Pdf | 2026-07-28 | 6.1 Medium |
| Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that facilitates various operations on PDF files. Prior to 2.0.0, Stirling-PDF's /get-info-on-pdf endpoint rendered PDF Title and Author metadata fields without proper HTML encoding or sanitization, allowing a crafted PDF to execute attacker-controlled JavaScript in the browser of a user who views the resulting page. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-34071 | 2 Stirling, Stirlingpdf | 2 Stirling Pdf, Stirling Pdf | 2026-05-14 | 5.4 Medium |
| Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that allows you to perform various operations on PDF files. In version 2.7.3, the /api/v1/convert/eml/pdf endpoint with parameter downloadHtml=true returns unsanitized HTML from the email body with Content-Type: text/html. An attacker who sends a malicious email to a Stirling-PDF user can achieve JavaScript execution when that user exports the email using the "Download HTML intermediate file" feature. Version 2.8.0 fixes the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-33438 | 2 Stirling, Stirlingpdf | 2 Stirling Pdf, Stirling Pdf | 2026-04-02 | 6.5 Medium |
| Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that allows you to perform various operations on PDF files. Versions starting in 2.1.5 and prior to 2.5.2 have Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability in the Stirling-PDF watermark functionality (`/api/v1/security/add-watermark` endpoint). The vulnerability allows authenticated users to cause resource exhaustion and server crashes by providing extreme values for the `fontSize` and `widthSpacer` parameters. Version 2.5.2 patches the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-27625 | 2 Stirling, Stirlingpdf | 2 Stirling Pdf, Stirling Pdf | 2026-03-25 | 8.1 High |
| Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that performs various operations on PDF files. In versions prior to 2.5.2, the /api/v1/convert/markdown/pdf endpoint extracts user-supplied ZIP entries without path checks. Any authenticated user can write files outside the intended temporary working directory, leading to arbitrary file write with the privileges of the Stirling-PDF process user (stirlingpdfuser). This can overwrite writable files and compromise data integrity, with further impact depending on writable paths. The issue was fixed in version 2.5.2. | ||||
